The longevity of any voluntary body is a test of its character. 50 years for any voluntary body is no mean achievement. We are proud that the association has proved just that, driven by a team of volunteers who believe in the avowed objective of the association which is to propagate and promote adventure and allied activities among the citizens.

Why should you donate?

In spite of the fact that the association’s programmes are economically budgeted, a huge chunk of the society, especially the student community and the poor find the programmes beyond reach, though keen in their desire and confident of their capabilities. Finance, to even sponsor this section of the society is a stumbling block. Your donation would go a long way in helping such individuals to explore their inner selves. This apart, donations would motivate us to see that the downtrodden, the underprivileged, the street children, et al have an adventurous day out. The association is a body registered under the Societies Act, whose annual accounts are duly audited and put before the General Body every year. This is exactly why the Government of Karnataka has provided office espace at the premises of the Kanteerava Stadium to pursue our activities.

[NOTE: Donations made to the Association are deductable under section 80G (20(a)(iv) r.w.s 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act 1961 in the hands of the donors vide The Directorate of Income Tax (Exemption) Lr.No.DIT(E)BLR/80G/K-132/AACAT 4309C/ITO(E)-2/Vol 2014-15]

How will the beneficiaries benefit?

Well, in a lot of ways. We will prudently see to it that the donations received are channeled to benefit the youth and children, especially those sections of the society that find funding a huge hindrance. Scores would realize their dream of enjoying the outdoors and indirectly soak in the benefits that accrue as a result. Mind you, outdoors is a great place to observe and learn and without doubt have an important bearing in moulding our character. They would be exploring themselves, test their strengths, evaluate their weaknesses, understand the importance of preserving our wildlife, the forests, the mountains, the water bodies etc. Above all they would learn that material world is not all and that there is this other world – the outdoors, the nature, the wilderness to soak in. As it is said, a good adventurer and a nature lover automatically becomes a good human being and man becomes more than a man when away from civilization. Spreading the outdoor activities would benefit the society at large.
